OneNote 2010 error message that file unreadable

All I recieve is the below error message after launching it: "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I had been using the cheap software online free edition on Windows 7 computer with no trouble for months. Now, I have no idea, why all of a sudden this application just doesnt want to open anymore?

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

1. Start-->Run, and type: onenote.exe /forcerepair "filepath" where filepath (in quotes!) may be the full path to the file that is corrupted. You can get this path by hovering the mouse over the section tab in Onenote. It's probably something like, "C:Documents and Settingsyour-nameMy DocumentsOneNote Notebooks otebook-name section-name.one"

2. In Onenote, visit File-->Info-->Open Backups, and open the most recent backup. If the cheap windows 8 looks fine, you are able to drag it to your notebook and delete the corrupt file.
