Microsoft is working on a Bluetooth 'Surface Ergonomic Keyboard'

Some at Microsoft are predicting the death of the cheap microsoft software keyboard, but that is not stopping the organization from developing new inclusions in its long-running line of PC input devices.

Among its current range is the Sculpt Ergonomic Keyboard, so it released three years ago, and which earned itself a good score in our review in 2013. However it looks like the company may be getting ready to launch a new form of its wrist-friendly keyboard - and it will be part of the top family.

WinFuture spotted an entry on the Bluetooth SIG registry talking about a 'Surface Ergonomic Keyboard' in the buy office 2010 Corporation. However, apart from talking about its support for Bluetooth 4.2, there are no further details available about the new device.

It remains to be seen if the new keyboard retains the distinctive style of the Sculpt Ergonomic model, which featured a rather prominent gap within the center, above the spacebar.

However the timing is interesting, coming just a few weeks before buy office 2010 professional is rumored to unveil its new Surface all-in-one desktop PC. When the all-in-one is indeed because of be announced the following month, it's certainly conceivable the company would want to launch a new high-end keyboard to go with it.
