Even Windows 10 tablets have an Instagram app before the iPad

Instagram brought its filter-driven social network to office 2016 standard mobile back in the spring and today it's doing exactly the same for PCs and tablets running Microsoft's OS. The photo and video app is now readily available for desktops and slates, meaning its now a choice across all Windows 10 devices along with a true universal app. Similar to the versions for other operating systems, Direct, Explore and Stories are all tools for viewing photos and videos alongside capture and editing features.

There's one caveat when the windows are 10 version of Instagram. You will need a PC or tablet with a touchscreen to be able to upload your images or videos. "Keep in your mind that other devices running Windows 10 might not support certain features, like the capability to capture and upload pics and vids," the app's page in the Window's Store explains.
