Reset Windows 10 to factory settings without losing files

Next click the Recovery link, which you will see in the left pane. Now under Reset this PC, click on Get started button which you'll see around the right side.

You will notice the following window open up. If you do not wish to lose your buy office 2013 and data, choose the Keep my files option. Whenever you select this option, Windows will remove your apps and settings but keep the data and knowledge intact.

If you wish to remove everything and begin afresh, choose the Remove everything option. If you select the Remove everything option, Windows asks you if you wish to remove all files from all drives or only the drive where cheap windows 8 is installed. You will also be asked if you wish to clean the drives too.

When you choose, you will see the following screen, where Windows will tell you that it's getting things ready.

Once Windows is ready, it'll show you a summary of your apps that'll be removed. It will likewise save a summary of removed apps for your desktop which you can access after the reset operation has ended.
